There will be an Early Release Day on Friday, May 18th.  
Ecology Academy will be holding their Spring Student Showcase on this day
from 12:30 to 2:30.
FYI - I will be at a conference with other science teachers from THMS on this date.  I will not be available at conferences, however students will be preparing a piece of work that we are currently working on in the energy unit to share.  I am also recommending they share any summative assessments with parents.

Learning Targets Vehicles In Motion Unit
D3h - Students will describe several different types of energy forms including heat energy, chemical energy and mechanical energy.

D3c - Student describes the difference between physical and chemical change.

D3d - Student explains the relationship of the motion of atoms and molecules to the states of matter for gases, liquids, and solids.
