WELCOME TO TROY HOWARD MIDDLE SCHOOL GUIDANCE
Mrs. Nealey is the 6th & 7th grade counselor and Ms. Stein is the 8th grade counselor.
We are here to help all students with any school adjustment issues they may have, including: social, academic, emotional and/or transitional needs . We have an initial meeting with each student, but please encourage them to ask for our help if desired. They only need to come to our offices to request a visit. If we're busy, they can easily fill out a request form.
Parents and staff are also welcomed to request our services at any time. Please feel free to contact us with any pertinent information, questions or concerns about your child. We enjoy collaborating with you to help your student feel more comfortable transition to school, to help him/her work towards beneficial relationships with friends and teachers, and to meet personal goals. Don't hesitate to let us know how we can help.
If you are looking for services or programs outside of school, we will be happy to assist you in contacting these resources. We have lists of counselors and counseling agencies in the community, along with names of many other programs and activities.
