Upcoming Events!
Welcome BACK TO SCHOOL!  Please return TLC Parent Letters for questions and meeting with me individually.

  • If possible, send in a suit and towel for kids to keep at school for Thursday Swim asap. Thanks!
  • Laptop Take-Home meeting for 7th and 8th grade students is coming up-date to follow! PLEASE be sure to attend if you want your student to be able to bring their laptop home. It's required that parents attend before the laptop can come home.
  • Annual Common Ground Fair Field Trip on Sept. 23rd, 2011:  Check student papers for more info.

Explore our pages! Use the Class Links on the sidebar over here:

From other pages, click "Class Homepage" to come back to this page. I'll also be doing a demo of how to use this website if possible at Open House. I'm teaching kids in class, so they can also show you new things we add.

Also.....

  • Homework has begun! Make sure to check with students regarding their individual assignments.
  • Class Calendar: Check back next week for updated Class Calendar.
  • 5-Point Scale and Social Thinking: Check student work coming home to learn along with us about how we use the 5-Point Scale to teach self-awareness, social-thinking, and self-regulation.

  • About clothing....
Please, remember that we like to try to spend as much time outside as possible. Send students with appropriate clothing for both indoor and outdoor activities. Children will need a change of clothing (short/track pants/sweat pants and sneakers) for PE. It does affect their participation grade. Boots, slick-bottom dress shoes or high heels, sandals and crocs are not safe or appropriate for PE.

Our Schedule:

Each student has an individual schedule. In general, this is what is going on in The Learning Center when a student is not in another class elsewhere. On special events days, the event replaces the activity on the schedule for that time. On some days, a student with another class may be eating their lunch early at 10:30.
