2011/12 Earth, Physical, Chemical Science               Today is 05/17/12

Student Led Conference notices went out the week of the 7th for early release day the 18th. The conferences will be held at 4 stations around our homeroom. Your child will have a keynote presentation and samples of work for you to view. I will circulate among the 4 stations if you have any questions. If you can not attend send in a read/write CD and I will burn a copy of their keynote for you to play at home.

Trimester 3 Standards:
D2d: Student describes significant Earth's resources and how limited supply affects usage
D2b: Student describes Earth's systems and cycles and interactions between them.
D2c: Give several reasons why the climate differs in different regions on earth.
B1c: Students will use appropriate tools, metric units and techniques to gather, analyze,and interpret data.
B1e: The student is able to use logic, critical reasoning, and evidence to develop explanations.
C4 b: Describe a breakthrough from the history of science that contributes to our current understanding of science.
