Targets for This Quarter Exploratory
Recognize word borrowings and cognates.
Describe common similarities and differences related to practices of a culture in which Spanish is spoken.
Use the verb “ser” in simple descriptive sentences
Compare and contrast Spanish and American calendars.
Identify the names of common sports in both Spanish and English.
Identify people and objects based on oral/signed descriptions.
Participate in brief guided exchanges related to likes and dislikes.
